After highschool, I worried myself so much about what people thought of me, that it progessed into Agoraphobia. I wasted 2 years of my life holed up in my house, scared to go outside because of what people ‘might’ think of me. It wasnt worth it.
I threw myself into a job that forced me to work with people all day long. It gave me the drive I needed to let go. I could tell myself ‘its your job, you have to do it’, and I was able to.
As much as you dont want to hear it, and as scary as it sounds, you need to MAKE yourself do something outside of your comfort zone. Whether its going out by yourself, or singing karaoke. You need to make a leap at something, and realize that even if it doesnt go as well as you hoped…you survived it, and what people thought about you had nothing to do with it! It was all you.
